Hon. Cary B. Pierce

The Honorable Cary B. Pierce is recently retired as a DuPage County Judge for the 18th Judicial Circuit after 21 years. Judge Pierce served in the Domestic Relations, Civil, Criminal, and Traffic Divisions for the majority of his judicial career.

Before Judge Pierce served on the bench, he was appointed by the Governor to serve as DuPage County's Public Guardian and Administrator. Wherein, he served years as both a Guardian and Guardian ad Litem in probate and child custody (family law) cases. Both as an Attorney at Law and a Judge, he has handled hundreds of contested criminal, traffic, civil, matrimonial, and family law related cases.

Judge Pierce is not only a former Deputy Public Defender, he is an Eagle Scout and a former Deputy Clerk for the court for the 18th Judicial Circuit. Currently, Judge Pierce has entered back into private practice with McMahon Law Offices and continues to be an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at the College of DuPage.
